Nashville favorite Dalts American Grill closes after 45 years. Will it reopen?

Nashville staple Dalts American Grill announced Dec. 22 that it would close permanently, effective immediately, after 45 years serving up country fried steak, baked potatoes and summer melts.

"We've chosen not to renew our lease," an owners' statement said. "We never fully recovered after the pandemic."
